The story of Hope

Hope's story is indeed one bursting with hope.  Her owner hit her with a car and brought her to ALL CREATURES so that she could be put down. She was saved but her right hind leg was amputated, which makes her a three-legged powerhouse. She is friendly, dominant and energetic.  She eats a lot but has to be on a diet to keep her weight off because of her situation. Do you remember reading or watching “The famous five” when you were growing up, or maybe “Tin-Tin” or watching “Beethoven” the adopted mischievous yet adorable canine? Tin-Tin’s endless adventures, him and captain Haddock, surely you must have loved finding clues and following on until we got the bad guy, hahaha “we” because we all felt like an integral part of the whole adventure, all the sniffing and scurrying, the dead ends and the starting over, it was exciting! If you paid close attention, in fact, even without paying much attention, you probably noticed that it seemed Tin-Tin couldn’t have sniffed out any bad guys without the faithful Snowy, nor could the famous five have bagged any criminals without Timmy, come to think of it, Mystery Inc. would not have done much without the timorous yet ever reliable Scooby doo to the effect that the whole show is named after him! Welcome Cookie into your home

Cookie is a friendly dog who was rescued by police from roadside vendors.  She was among seven rescued puppies, four of whom got adopted.  She came to ALL CREATURES in December 2016. Cookie is very good with people and also good with other dogs.  If you are looking for a pet, do not hesitate to come to ALL CREATURES offices opposite Civo stadium in Area 9.  Feel free to call  01 751 934 for more information about Cookie. ROOTS & SHOOTS Club - Educating our Youth

ROOTS & SHOOTS Malawi Youth Education on Animal Welfare, Environmental Sustainability, and Community Engagement  As many schools went on holiday for the month of December, one of our largest Roots & Shoots clubs remained very active in their community and here at ALL CREATURES. Lead by Education Coordinator, Joshua Nyasulu, several Chinsapo Youth Club volunteers came to our facility to teach our caretaker how to build fire briquettes, using paper instead of firewood. This is a more environmentally sustainable activity as we no longer have to rely on trees but on old scrap paper that we collect around the office as well as from our Roots & Shoots clubs.
